Established in 1986 as one of the pioneer manufacturers of plywood in Sri Lanka by Chairman Mr.Susantha Marapana, The company has grown strength by strength and is now one of the leading plywood manufactures of plywood sheets and plywood doors. The group currently has an annual turnover of 500 Million LKR and employees over 350 workers. 12mm sheets and about 3000 15 mm commercial plywood Lanka Plywood a pioneer in the private sector of plywood manufacturing has been in the industry since 1986. Beginning as a veneer supplying plant in Kegalle, under the vision of the founder Chairman Susantha Marapana it swiftly became a fully fledged plywood manufacturing plant. Furthermore a Kandy plant was established in 1999, while Galigamuwa and Nalanda plants were initiated in 2015 & 2016 respectively. Lanka Plywood produces over 28,000 units during a month. The door plant contributes over 1000 doors a month making Lanka Plywood the preferred choice of many consumers.
